Couesnon — Smart Beehive Monitoring Dashboard
A connected apiculture platform for real-time hive weight tracking & GPS geolocation.
Couesnon is a monitoring dashboard built for beekeepers to remotely track the health and status of their hives — live weight, historical measurement logs, and GPS location on an interactive map — so abnormal weight variations can be spotted without physically visiting each hive. The project was inherited from a previous team and significantly extended this semester; the hive-scale hardware and an energy-consumption study are planned for the next one.
- Secure login screen for authorized beekeeper access
- Real-time hive weight display with automatic variation tracking (+/- kg since last reading)
- Full measurement history log, timestamped to the second
- Interactive GPS map (Leaflet / OpenStreetMap) pinpointing each hive's exact location
- Multi-hive management from a sidebar, with a live countdown to the next scheduled data update

My contribution — I designed and built the full dashboard interface (hive overview, live weight and variation cards, measurement history panel, GPS map integration), and worked alongside a teammate to connect the frontend to the Node.js backend retrieving real weight and location data from the hive hardware over the internet.
